The Crighton Players are always looking for qualified and willing volunteers to help us put on the best shows and offer the most entertainment for our community. We have undergone some very exciting changes since we have relocated from the Crighton Theatre to our new home here at the Owen Theatre and we have created the position of Volunteer Coordinator to assist with finding volunteers and organizing them for the benefit of our organization and community.
There are many areas where volunteers are needed, here are just a few:

- Costuming
- Lighting Design and Operation
- Presentations
- Properties
- Sales
- Set decoration
- Set Design and construction
- Sound Design and Operation
- Ushering
How To Get Involved
If you would like to donate some of your time to our community project there are several ways to get involved. Click on the “Contact Us” tab and send an email to the webmaster. The webmaster will forward your email to the appropriate person who can help you get involved. Be sure to tell us if you have any specific skills or background that may be of special interest to the Players organization. You may also contact our Theatre Manager at 936-539-4090
If your interest lies in primarily acting or working on specific shows you should begin by contacting the director for the show you are interested in volunteering for. Actors and actresses should be prepared to audition at our scheduled auditions for each show and if you are interested in working “behind the scenes” feel free to contact the director early to let them know of your availability.
